Benefits of massage

Massage provides many benefits, both physical and emotional. These include:
  • Relaxing mind and body
  • Increasing blood and lymphatic circulation, thereby bringing oxygen and nutrients to the part being massaged, and removing waste products that may be responsible for muscle stiffness, aches and pains
  • Relaxing tight muscles
  • Relieving stiff joints
  • Encouraging deeper and relaxed breathing
  • Helping to induce a feeling of calmness
  • Encouraging sleep
  • Alleviating indigestion
  • Improving the condition of the skin
  • Creating a feeling of well-being


A full body massage session lasts about an hour and ten minutes, and includes a consultation and treatment.  Allow an hour and a half for the first session.
You will be asked to undress to your underwear and will be covered by towels throughout the treatment, exposing only the area being treated at any one time.
The following areas are treated in sequence:
  • Back
  • Back of legs
  • Front of legs
  • Stomach
  • Arms
  • Face
  • Scalp

About myself

I suffered from migraine for much of my life, and having found holistic treatments to be of much benefit I became fascinated by holistic therapies.  I attended many workshops and continue training, enabling me to help others in the same way I was helped.
